This & That

Fine art was my first love when it came to the camera.  I really enjoy searching for special images to put into my collection.  I tend to focus on art that is a direct reflection of my life and my interests.  Each piece of art relates in some way to my family, specific places, or different experiences from my childhood.  Many of my childhood memories are centered in the rural south, and as these places become older, their fate is a fleeting existence.  As they disappear, I attempt to document their existence and importance.  As an artist, I try to capture the simple beauty in the ordinary and old.  Rural places are different all around the world, and as technology advances, these places lose their individuality.  By capturing the now before it is forever gone, I hope to make is so that the people and places can be shared with future generations.
